| Description of the problem | I own a flhtpi. I applied the front brake on the day listed. I was very lucky that i was only going 4 or 5 miles an hour. The front brake lever moved all the way up to the handle bar at which point the front brakes completely failed allowing the bike to continue to move forward. I pumped the front brake lever several times and got some pressure back. I took the bike the dealer where one front pad was missing from the backing plate and the other came apart while changing the pads. I could have very easily been injured or killed. |
